Services

It is no secret that today's youth are struggling with their mental health. Whether it's difficulty with school, conflicts with peers, or identity issues, children are often trying to manage these issues without the necessary skills or maturity to do so effectively, which often leads to behavioral issues, such as such as social isolation, angry outbursts, self-harm, defiance, etc.

As parents, we want to be there for our kids, but children are often reluctant to open up to their parents or just simply don't know how to express what they are going through. In these situations, a therapist may be able to connect with the child as a supporter or mentor and help the child better understand their feelings and teach them strategies to manage their mental, emotional, and behavioral problems.

Therapy for children is often a collaborative process as there are typically several different people who are involved in different ways to support the child, such as parents, relatives, school counselors, psychiatrists, etc. The therapist can coordinate care with these other individuals to ensure that everyone is working together to support the child.

Here is a list of different mental and behavioral problems that we can support your child with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety
